EDITED: Media Summer Task

  1. Tasha - I'm pleased to see how you're exploring similarities and differences here, and you're beginning to examine some aspects of media language (soundtrack, camerawork). The piece would be D grade at A Level as it is predominantly descriptive more than analytical, and the generalisations detract (are you sure 'practically no camerawork is used' in LA Noire? Any camera angle, shot type or camera movement is camerawork, and it's impossible to have no camerawork in a video text).

Here's what I'd like you to do:
    1) Embed the clips from Youtbe in to this blog post
    2) Add a paragraph to examine this question: How does the use of dark shadows and high contrast in the black and white shots of Bond create a sense of moral ambiguity/ good and evil?

  2. Tasha - can you have a go at the suggestions I made on how to improve this blog post?
